I was almost kidnapped and he had a metal knife. I ran faster than he thought I could.

He was trying to secure my neck with the metal knife. Yet, I wish you would do something, help me.

I'm safe. Maybe he was too afraid to chase me, running towards a shop area with many people.

He was wearing black-coloured clothes, but not wearing masks or hats. Possibly trying to blend into the dark, and there were no dogs around.

I don't know if it's true that it was a large flat metallic object that looks like a meat knife or something to cut meat. Like, he was going to do some precision throw with it, aiming to hit me by throwing it backwards and then energetically towards me.

But I was trying to run somewhere, fell, and then ran to a shop area with lots of people, faster than him. Maybe he was too afraid to keep chasing me as I ran towards the bright shop area.

I also wonder if he was trying to kidnap me by threatening to put that knife against my neck as a hostage or to kill me immediately. I don't know.

That happened near intersections of roads leading to a mosque just metres away. He looks to be in his 20s to 40s, not fat, with a normal build. Maybe the black shirt has a collar.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s true he looks like a security guard, who would also wear black with a badge. This was outside a high-rise housing area with no streetlights, outside the fence of the complex.

In the bright shops there, I am taking a break and having some drinks. I saw a police pickup car, but I hope they are doing something—or maybe they already are.

How clever he was. There were no stray dogs around that could protect or defend me. I was using my phone, and I remembered my father’s advice not to look at my phone all the time, to stay aware of my surroundings.

And yes, that helped me protect myself. I thought he was just another pedestrian, but it was an attempted armed threat. No footsteps, no sound from him, except for my father’s advice to be aware of my surroundings.
